The Jets won last night so it is our happy duty to give out a game ball James Morgan Jersey.As always, there are a couple of guidelines we look to follow when assigning the game ball. Whenever possible, we try to avoid giving it to the quarterback because it too obvious. The offensive success the Jets had last night was mainly on the ground so that isn an issue. We also look to avoid giving it to repeat recipients just so it isn constantly going to the best player on the team. There were plenty of candidates from the front seven, but I am giving the game ball to Muhammad Wilkerson. Over the last three weeks, he has started to look like Muhammad Wilkerson again. He recorded a sack for the second straight week. He also added a pass defensed, a hit, and two pressures. Otherwise, he was just disruptive. Finally we are seeing signs of the disruptive player who signed that big contract.I understand Wilkerson did not draw the most difficult assignment, but he looked like the best player on the field to me. For that, he gets my game ball.Who gets yours?
